1. Prices of journals and periodicals quoted above are valid for 60 days only from date of quotation and subject to change without notice thereafter by the publisher. If the contract is awarded after 60 days of submission of this quotation, a revision of rate may apply in specific cases if the publisher so decides.

2. Wherever applicable, a 10% shipping, handling and service charge is added to the price of journals and periodicals as provided by the publisher. This charge will cover door to door delivery and complete management of subscription for one contract year.

3. Subscription to journals and periodicals take a minimum of 60 days to start after confirmation of order and receipt of full payment by the publisher.

4. Renewal subscription will continue without interruption provided the current subscription is renewed within 30 days of its expiry and The Client provides The Vendor the relevant Subscriber Reference Numbers in advance.

6. An order for journals and periodicals cannot be cancelled or the money refunded after commencement of subscription. However, in cases where the publisher sells a title or ceases its publication during the contract year, money from the unused portion of the subscription will be refunded to The Client in due course. The Vendor will submit a quarterly Statement of Account detailing the balance of amount on each subscription.

7. Wherever applicable, a subscription to the print edition of a journal will include also access to its online edition.

8. While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery of journals through first class air mail, it may not be possible always to dispatch an issue in the week or month of its publication due to postal delays and other factors beyond the publishers’ or vendor’s control.

9. Missing issues will be replaced provided a written notice is received from The Client on receipt of the next issue or within three months of publication date of the missing issue. The Vendor will make every effort possible to keep track of late arriving and missing issues. In normal circumstances The Vendor will have the publisher replace a missing issue, or extend a subscription where a missing issue is no longer available.

10. The standard procedure for subscription to journals and periodicals is 100% pre-payment with the contract. The subscription order will be processed only after receipt of full payment by the publisher. All payment should be in the currency in which the quotation is submitted.
